You decide which ship from our fleet it should be: A traditional Alster steamer, a modern flatboat or our exclusive solar catamaran "Alstersonne"? For your event or celebration with up to 60 people per ship, there are 16 ships to choose from. No matter which boat you choose, our experienced skippers will steer you safely along Hamburg's waterways and have an eye for the unusual. They will give you individual tips and show you unusual spots that would otherwise remain hidden.

Our fleet offers the right ship for every occasion:
- The traditional Alster steamers carry up to 50 guests individually through the beautiful Alster region. Tables and chairs on board are freely movable. This gives you plenty of freedom to customize your trip.
- In addition to the Alster area, our flatboats with up to 60 guests also sail the canals of the Speicherstadt and parts of the Port of Hamburg. The trip through the Vier- und Marschlande to Bergedorf and back is also popular. The spacious interior also offers a flexible arrangement of tables and chairs.
- The motor launch "Aue", our listed ship, which - fully restored - now once again sails nostalgically through the Alster area for up to 26 guests. Here you can experience pure shipping history!
- The futuristic-looking solar catamaran "Alstersonne", which is powered purely by solar energy, glides almost silently through the waters of the Alster with up to 60 guests on board. The fully glazed ship offers a particularly unobstructed view in all directions. The "Alstersonne" can only be hired in summer.
- Our "Alsterwasser" takes you across the Alster and its side arms purely electrically, very quietly - and completely barrier-free. There is room for a maximum of 60 people.
- Der erste traditionelle Alsterdampfer, der rein elektrisch fährt, unsere „Eilbek“, fährt sie ebenfalls fast lautlos über die Alster. Genießen sie , während sie bei uns an Bord feiern, den Klang Hamburgs!

And as far as catering for your guests on board is concerned, there are no limits here either: from the cozy consumption of a picnic basket you have brought yourself to coffee and cake to all-round service by a caterer, (almost) anything is possible.

Falls an Bord Gastronomie stattfindet, werden für die Bereitstellung (Vor- und Nachbereitung) des Schiffes 300,00 € inklusive MwSt. berechnet. Bei geringfügiger Gastronomie, d.h., wenn kein großer Aufwand für das An-Bord-Bringen entsteht, berechnen wir 180,00 € inklusive MwSt.

Bis zu 2 Stunden kostet das traditionelle Schiff 990,- € (sonntags bis donnerstags) oder 1060,- € (freitags und sonnabends) inklusive MwSt. ab/bis Anleger Jungfernstieg. Jede weitere angefangene Stunde kostet dann 440,00 € inkl. MwSt.
Zweistündige Fahrten mit dem Flachschiff berechnen wir mit 1200,- € (sonntags bis donnerstags) oder 1270,- € (freitags und sonnabends). Hier kostet jede weitere Stunde 500,- €. Wenn Sie in Richtung Hamburger Hafen unterwegs sein wollen, berechnen wir zusätzlich 100,- € je Stunde.
Wollen sie emissionsfrei unterwegs sein? Dann mieten sie unsere emissionsfreien Schiffe! Die „Eilbek“, die „Alsterwasser“ und die „Alstersonne“ fahren sie fast lautlos über die Alster. Sie werden staunen, was die Natur an Klängen zu bieten hat im Alsterrevier! Zwei Stunden Fahrt berechnen wir mit 1500,- €. Freitags und Sonnabends mit 1570,- €.

"Eilbek"
Die „Eilbek“ ist der erste traditionelle Alsterdampfer, der rein elektrisch fährt. Eine äußerst gelungene Kombination aus Tradition und Moderne, wie wir finden! Die „Eilbek“ fährt sie fast geräuschlos über die Alster. Sie werden staunen, was ihnen die Natur auf der Alster an Klängen und Tönen zu bieten hat! Das Schiff wird geschmackvoll für Ihre Veranstaltung ausgestattet. Durch eine flexible Bestuhlung können die Tische in Reihen, Gruppen oder als Einzeltische gestellt werden. Ihre Feier an Bord wird mit Sicherheit zu einem gelungenen Erlebnis! Mit ihrem geraden, hohen Aufbau ist sie ein echter Traditionalist, der sich die moderne Technik „einverleibt“ hat. Gerade im kleinen Alsterrevier ist die „Eilbek“ extrem wendig.

"Alsterwasser"
Alster-Touristik played a leading role in the EU ZEMShips project and tested the world's first fuel cell-powered passenger ship under its flag. At the end of the project, the ship was extensively converted and now sails as a purely battery-powered vessel in our fleet. State-of-the-art design and environmentally friendly technology are the special features of this ship. You glide silently across the Alster and can hear the sounds and tones of nature. The ship is completely barrier-free according to the latest findings.
- Cruising areas: entire Alster area with canals; not harbor, Speicherstadt and Elbe
- Large heated dining room with panoramic windows and hydraulic roof lowering to pass the bridges
- Entrance at the front with a hydraulic ramp for wheelchairs

"Alster sun"
One of the world's largest solar catamarans - and the first built specifically for passenger service - has had its home port on the Alster at Jungfernstieg since 2000. A special flair awaits your guests on the "Alstersonne". The all-round glazing makes it nice and bright and you feel like you're traveling back in time to the future. You can watch swans passing right by the ship as well as the many fireworks on the Alster far above. State-of-the-art technology in the form of 6 tons of gel batteries power the catamaran in a particularly ecological way. Probably the most futuristic ship of Alster-Touristik GmbH.

Traditional ship type
The traditional Alster steamers are exclusively and tastefully furnished for your event. Flexible seating arrangements allow tables to be arranged in rows, groups or as individual tables. The modern technology makes celebrating private events on board a successful experience; whether you bring a DJ or an entire band is irrelevant. A projector, screen and microphone system can be installed for business events. A special highlight is the surprise buffet: let a second ship dock in the middle of the Alster and let your guests storm the buffet.
The traditional Alster steamers have been a familiar sight on the Alster in various series for decades. With their straight, high superstructures, they are reminiscent of their predecessors, the steam-powered launches from the century before last, but they are technically far superior to them; these ships are extremely maneuverable, especially in the small Alster area. There are different ships available for you:
- Ammersbek, Bredenbek, Eilbek, Saselbek, Seebek, Sielbek and the Susebek
- Cruising areas: Alster and canals, not harbor and Speicherstadt
- Large heated dining room with panoramic windows
- Entrance at the front; mainly used for musicians and as a dance floor
- The rear area is particularly suitable for catering and setting up a buffet

Ship type flat-bottomed ship
The so-called "flatboats" of Alster-Touristik are contemporary and modern. Due to their low height, it is possible to leave the Alster area and go on a "long voyage", for example to Bergedorf through the Vier- und Marschlande. Or discover HafenCity with its historic warehouse district. Large skylights give you a clear view of the beautiful warehouses even in the narrow canals. These ships have a comfortable, wide passenger area that offers you various options for organizing your celebration. A spacious kitchen area with cooling units, dishwasher and bar offers a wide range of options for organizing the cruise.
These modern flatboats have been sailing on the Alster since the 1980s. They pass under almost all the bridges in the area and offer unimagined perspectives. There are different ships available for you:
- Alsterschipper, Alsterschwan, Fleetenkieker, Quarteerslüüd and lock keeper S.C.
- Cruising areas: entire Alster area and canals, harbor, Speicherstadt and Elbe
- Large heated dining room with panoramic windows and large opening skylights
- Entrance in the front area
- The rear area is particularly suitable for catering and setting up a buffet. The kitchen is also located here.

Museumsschiff "Aue"
A "gem" on the Alster. For very special occasions that you want to celebrate on a small scale with up to 24 people, Alster-Touristik offers you the historic motor launch "Aue". This ship, built in 1926, has been faithfully restored and is a listed building. It presents itself as a very special witness to Hamburg's transport history. During the trip, your guests can take a look at the pounding cylinders in the glazed engine room.
