A journey through Hamburg's world cultural heritage
Through narrow canals, under numerous old and new bridges, past the imposing Elbphilharmonie concert hall: the architectural contrast of the city becomes particularly clear on a trip through Hamburg's old free port area. The historic warehouse district with its countless warehouses for carpets, coffee and spices from all over the world allows you to immerse yourself in the eventful history of the Hanseatic city. And the modern face of the metropolis can be seen in HafenCity, Hamburg's modern residential and business district.
Our canal cruises are dependent on the tides. In individual cases, this may mean that we are unable to navigate the canals. In such a case, we can offer you an alternative canal trip at the same time. We will of course inform you in good time!
Hamburg's Jungfernstieg has been undergoing a facelift since 04.03.2024. Please check whether there are any restrictions on your journey that require a little more time. Travel by underground and suburban trains is still possible as usual, as is unrestricted access to the jetty.
